"Crap this. He couldn't last that long," Looking at the arrow that was lodged near his wing. Feeling it's toxic energy, Frost learned that it was the cause. This arrow had been stealing his magic energy. She too was on low, she had to do something or else she was going to go splat with birdbrain here. Think frost think! A time reversal spell, no them the jerks would be chasing them and she couldn't call anything to save them. Maybe a transfer spell, she could switch them with something else, or someone else. Thinking fast Frost read the signature on the arrow and began the spell. Opening her eyes they were back on the streets. Listening to the wind, she could barely hear the grunts and curses of their pursuers as they hit the ground. Now grumbling herself Frost grabbed the boy by the shoulders and slowly dragged the dead weight into a dark alley hidden from public eyes. Once hidden Frost finally rested her sightless eyes. Pulling down her hood, she just stared into the darkness. Hearing the boy breathing, Frost sighed. He was bad luck and was probably going to get killed out there all alone. Rubbing her hands together and feeling the loves on them, "what would you do Leaf?"

When Chris blacked out, he had a dream that he found his father and they were able to buy a farm with the money they both had. They were working on the harvest when he heard someone say something and instead of being on the farm, he was transported to a close by cave. He could hear the wind and feel the presence of someone else. He was dragged into the cave by an unknown force. But it felt safer in the cave than outside. He wanted to walk but the whole time he was laying down. It didn't feel like he had the strength to walk. The world turned completly dark again. When he opened his eyes, he could see a girl and they were in a dark alley instead of a cave. He only had the strength to say, "Where are we?" His whole body ached.

Finally sleeping beauty woke up. "Welcome to the world of the living, ya dead weight," Frost sarcastically said. She to had be awoken by the boy's words. She hadn't even known that she was asleep. she quickly pulled her hood over her eyes even though the ally way was too dark to see in. Remembering what had happen earlier, remembering how she was in a blur and truthfully wasn't thinking. Like an animal she just reacted, no thought just the will to live. She was just an animal, prey and those men were hunters. Hunting fro money, or for game. To them all it was a game because they were human and her and the people like her were animals. Mindless creature without feelings cast out because they weren't like them those humans. Because of all this all she could do is run and run, fear making her every move, controlling her as she tries to free herself from her disability. her difference, chain that they will follow until she gets hung by it. Turning to look at the person by her and only seeing darkness, his question echoed once more in her head. Was he their true target, clumsy ignorant and easy to spot a mile away. This boy should have been dead by now if he hadn't had such luck, by his energy he was part fey. With that heritage he probably would have good luck, but knowing this too well, luck always ran out all too soon. This kid was going to die or get captured if he didn't realize what danger he was in soon. then frost thought, why was she worrying about this, it wasn't her problem. How would it hurt her if he got caught or not. He was only a dead weight. yet some part of her pitied him, even though she knew he would get in her way. "You know your completely useless right,"

It took the boy a little to relize that the girl had said something. He tried looking around but the alleyway was too dark. He could sense where she was. Anger welled up inside Chris, only to be replaced by sadness. "I know I'm completely useless. I believe that's why my father abandoned me. And that's why I'm in this city. To find my father to show him I may be of some use to him. You don't have to stay with me if you also think I'm useless." Chris said soberly. Chris decied it was time to leave. As he tried to stand his head spun and the world started to turn black and he fell back down. He wasn't unconcious. For the first time he noticed blood on the ground

She had meant the earlier remark in a joking way but it seemed that the winged boy had too easily taking it to hear, he also gave away information that could make him easy to find. She wondered how this kid made it this far being this naive either he was really lucky or something. "Yesh someone is melodramatic, if your dad treated you like that why go after him." She said huffing. The boy began to move up and stumbled back. She felt him bit back to the ground, she also heard the blood drip. "Ugh don't move so much dolt, your bleeding, you were shot like turkey." she said her tone lighter. she pulled at what she felt was one of his wings. She felt beneath it where the arrow has hit, it was bleeping. 'Crap,' she thought, he's bleeding worse than she expected, probably a spell to make their prey easier to find. She grabbed the hem of her clock and ripped at it making strips of cloth. It would stop the bleeding but they wouldn't help if this got infected. Then he'd be in trouble, they weren't many doctors who'd help for free especially if they were outcasts like them. 'Maybe I could take him to a fairy healer, magi have more pity for our kind than humans do,' She thought than shook her head, 'What do I care, this boy is a walking jinx and an idiot.' She continued to rape up the wound but she was no professional and very much blind, it was done quite messily. She pulled her hood down once more out of habit, "You trust people too much,"

"There aren't many people I can trust. I'm only with you because you helped me. You're the first person I have trusted in so long." He said as he winced when she pulled the cloth too tight but ignored it. It was quite messy but it stopped the bleeding tramendously. "You're not very good with wrapping bandages, are you? It's ok. It's really helping. How long do you think we'll have to stay here until I'm mobile again?" He asked but didn't exspect an answer. He sat there and started slipping in and out of concuisness. When he was awake, he tried to eat what they had but couldn't choke it down. He tried looking at her but his vision was too blurred and it was still too dark. He felt like they could be caught at any moment. He hated this feeling. All he wanted to do was find his dad.

"Feh your still trusting, how do you know I'm not another hunter wanting to sell you myself. In this world you trust no one because the more they help you in the beginning and sorry I don't have a doctor in the pocket. Probably should but the tow may come again more pissed and less merciful since we gave them a free ride down gravity onto their faces,” She fiddled with the wound making sure the bandages were tight. The boy was slipping and sliding, he was worn out probably. As he ate Frost rested. She listened to the pitter patter of the feet. By the sound of it, it was getting late less people. Knowing this was their chance to escape. Though night held less people it was just as dangerous. She pulled the boy up despite the height difference. “Let’s go, dead-weight…” She stared ahead holding him in deadlock by his wrist, “Follow me don’t make too much ruckess, warn me is anyone is flowing and most important don’t act like an idiot,”

He still felt shakey but he had to walk since she would not let go. It felt good to be moving again. His legs felt stiff but he followed her orders. "So stay quiet unless we are followed. Got it" He whispered to himself. His vision was better and his wing felt like it had healed up. He wanted to move his wings but it would attract attention to them. They didn't want that. He pulled his wings in tighter to try to make his back appear more flat. It hurt. It was good he could still feel pain but bad that his wings still hurt. He started at his "partner" and had so many questions. "How long was I out?" He blurted before he knew what he was doing

Frost heard the boy talking to himself. Frost also heard him wince, he was probably trying not to move them so much. Rolling her eyes and listening to the rustling of feathers die down into bone chilling silence, Beautiful silence that held only the scuffling of feet and the whispers of the winds secret. It was her favorite sound, it wasn't loud but not quiet ironically. But unfortunately her favorite sound was interrupted by her least favorite. With a faint groan she turned her head to the boys voice, "Do you have the memory of bird, dead weight or is someone following us?" She paused to think, "No not really," She continued in utter silence, not wanting to make anymore noise than she had to. She took a sharp turn using her ears for direction. She could hear a stream and the rustling of leaves. The sound or murmurs faded along with the foot steps. She smelled earth, leaves and moss. They were on the right track. Her pace slowed as she heard leaves crunch beneath her feet.

Even though they had been walking in silence for awhile, he didn't hear anyone following them. He just kept to his thoughts. He wondered so many things. Like where were they going? Who is this person really? He heard her ask something but didn't pay much attention to it. Whenever she talked to him, she was always harsh. He would have kept walking forward if he didn't hear leaves start to crunch under feet. He had to turn around and run to catch back up with his ally. He could smell the woods and hear the animals running around. He even saw a flock of birds above. He wanted to fly again. But his wings still hurt. He was about to ask a question but knew better because it seemed she was enjoying the woods. His voice seemed to annoy her. Silence was best. Like always
